nü was founded in 1997 by Jannie and Lars Schacksen based on the fundamental idea of designing and producing clothing for hair dressers - hence the former name staff. However, it was soon changed to design womens wear and the relaxed and raw style and the many design detalis were soon much in demand. The collections are made of natural fabrics of a high quality with the focus very much on details such as embroidery, stitching, necklines and other charateristic features.
